With some careful attention, a library can be transformed, helping children truly engage with the collection again. Backed by years of experience in children’s literature and library curation, the young reader is at the heart of everything I do.
I believe libraries should be arranged in child-centred ways so that every student can reach the books they want, navigate genres with confidence, and feel their needs are put first—no matter their reading or physical ability.
Above all, a school library should be a safe space where every child feels comfortable, happy, and inspired to read.
